Guide to Wedding Dress Fabrics

When searching for your wedding dress, there is a good choice when it comes to dust - and sometimes it can be overwhelming trying to decide whether the work of the right fabric for you. Many clothes are made of materials that normally do not carry the day to day wear, so it's good to know what to look for, and the different characteristics of each tissue. Here is a general guide to wedding dress fabrics and how to wear:



Taft: Taft was a popular choice for wedding dresses, if it makes sense to create, structure and form. A fairly heavy material, has a stiff taffeta fabric and is made of silk or blend. Perfect for dresses and skirts are available in satin or taffeta, with a slight sheen.

Tulle: Tulle is a bit stiff, fine mesh, which can be added to the richness and structure. Made of silk or silk tulle mixture is light and pure and is often used to make trains and veils.
